APPI is a grassroots, community-driven NGO based in Kakuma, Turkana, Kenya, dedicated to transforming the lives of Pastoralists communities across Kenya (Turkana County) and borderlands of Ethiopia, South Sudan and Uganda where the Ateker Clusters reside. We stand at the frontlines of peacebuilding, climate change adaptation, and livelihood empowerment—bridging gaps, restoring hope, and lighting the path to sustainable development.
